Day 6 - London

Sigh*  Our last full day in London..... The past week has gone by way tooo fast!

We stopped via the post box for Tasha to mail off her postcards home before heading out for the day.

Today we went to the Tower of London.  There are no words to describe walking on cobblestones that were laid down a thousand years ago and following the history of this place.  We heard stories of gruesome ends and funny tales as well as learning more and more about the past royal families of England.  Our tour guide - Yeoman - was a great story teller.
We did the Yeoman tour then went exploring on our own for quite a few hours.  This place has so many steps!  And yes I think we walked all of them!  We saw the crown jewels and were just blown away with the wealth and the gold that is owned by the royals.
I took so many photos and had a thoroughly enjoyable day.
As our time in London comes to a close it is with a heavy heart I think of moving on but I am also looking forward to the things we have planned next.  As we say goodbye to Earls Court I thought I would just include pictures of some of the pubs here just down the road from our apartment.  Gorgeous old English pubs.
