Day 17 - London

Our last day in England:(

Tomorrow we have to get up EARLY - we have to be downstairs in the lobby ready to get on the bus at 5:15am.

Today we left Salisbury and headed back to London - we are staying in accommodation booked by the travel agent in conjunction with the tour.  The Copthorne Tara.  Very nice - friendly boys to open the doors etc etc.

We went out in search of a laundromat sso we could start the tour with all clean clothes.  After consulting my good friend Google we found Annie's drycleaning in Kensington and put the washing on.  Then to fill in some time the kids and I spent some time in Hyde Park seeing how many squirrels we could find.  Oh and walking, lots of walking.  For a day that I thought would be a light walking day we walked A LOT.
The squirrels were so tame and would come up and take nuts right out of your hand. It was lots of fun watching them run and play.
Our motel is literally around the corner from the place that Tasha has decided will be allowed to be part of her future!  She was very excited to see pics of Conor Maynard and 1D there as well!

After returning to our motel we splurged as we were in this nice hotel and it was our last night here and ordered room service - we felt very posh!

So tomorrow we leave London to head off on our European Whirl tour.  I am sad to leave England but so excited about all the places we will see.  I am not sure how constant internet service will be as we travel but if I can I will continue to post each day.

Todays tally:
Steps  16890
Time spent on bus to travel 1 and 1/2 miles:  45 minutes.  (ooops we took the scenic route)
Time spent on trains today:  1 and 1/2 hours
